Description Album of photographs presented to Thomas Purdie (1843-1916), professor of chemistry at St Andrews University, 1885-1909, by the chemistry students of the University, on the occasion of his retiral from the chair of chemistry.

Physical Description 1 volume. Binding: crimson morocco, blocked, blind and gold tooled, some green and black decoration added. Initials "TP" incorporated into the design on front cover. Gilt edged.
